This collaboration started with the idea to take a few piano pieces and use them as a foundation for bigger ideas. Soundscapes evolved out of piano, synthesizer, guitar, and field recordings and were then mutated into dense sheets of ambience, drone, and noise while still letting the fundamental melody shine through. As these pieces developed, influences from classical music, punk, and metal also became present. The music is a means to experiment with contrasts, in particular between beauty and ugliness, and portraying both simultaneously.
